What is a biometric passport?

This passport is intended for travel abroad. It contains a microcircuit - a smart card that uses wireless technologies. User data is stored in the chip's memory. Information about the microchip contained in the document is presented on the cover in the form of a special international marker.

To obtain a biometric passport for a child, they provide a birth certificate (original + copy), as well as the parents' internal passports (original + two copies).
